WE ARE FIBRELUX
Our
Story
FibreLux began with a vision to tackle two pressing issues: reducing fabric import dependency and addressing the waste of plantain pseudo stems. Located in the heart of Ghana’s Bono and Ahafo regions, where over 92 million plantain stems go to waste annually, our journey began with an innovative idea to transform this byproduct into luxury textiles. Today, we are proud to be a pioneer in sustainable fabric production. Fibrelux was founded with a vision to create sustainable and economically viable solutions for Ghana's agricultural waste. We recognized the potential of plantain pseudo-stems and developed a process to transform them into beautiful, durable fabrics.
